STATEMENT OF WITNESS
11 Airplane Number 44-6349 dropped out of the formation at about 1100,
just before the I.P. . Apparently he was drawing excess power to keep
up with the formation. Ship 849 took his place and when 349 was last
seen he was dropping back. The ball turret gunner on my ship
lost sight of him but that was probably due to the fact that we
were then on the bcmb run. 11

STATEMENT OF WITNESS
11
Airplane Number 44-6349 left the number 3 position at about 1100.
Shortly before the I.P. ship 849 took its place in the formation.
Apparently 349 couldn't keep up with the formation and dropped back.
That was the last I saw of the ship.

STATEMENT OF WITNESS
11
Airplane Number 44-6349, piloted by 2nd Lt. Condraski, dropped out
of #3 position and dropped 2 bombs approximately five minutes before
the I.P. Lt. Condraski's ship followed the group to the target, area
and skirted the flak. I observed no engine trouble with the exception
of an oil leak: on the bettom of #3 engine, but it was not excessive,
only noticeable. He couldn't keep up with the formation after dropping
bombs and continued to drop back farther until he went around the flak.
I saw a ship after we left the target. area, that may have been 349, which
was the last I saw of the ship.
