So far as I know, all the crew members reached home earely. It. Bowen
Griffith arrived in U. 8. before I did, which was May 15,
1945.

STATEMENT
One engine went out at the initial point, and Lt. Jarrett's
A/C was forced to leave the formation. He joined a formation of B-24s
and kept radio contact with the lead A/C of the 483rd Bomb Group. He
was last seen ten (10) minutes after target time- 1240 hours- straggling
behind a formation of 24S. One hour after target time- 1320 - Lt.
Jarrett hade radio contact with Group Lead, stating he had lost enother
engine and was going to try to make it back to base, but didn't think
he could make it.
