Taken as a prinener of war on the date of bailing out.
Taken to Nurnberg, via Frankfurt on Main, released from the former
camp by U.S. troops. Seriously ill at time of release. Recovered
in France. Repatriated to the U.S. in early June. Returned to
active duty in July, 1946. No contact since August 45.
