WITH WING + Eighters, route flown MASSED rendervani because of weather. Frew
over ADRIATIC -N. ITALY
up over N. LALY over Bavarian ALPS to FER.
5. Where were you when you left formation? Abouts 5 kilometara aouth of Kempten, Germany.
6. Did you bail out? Airoraft exploded and I was blown out and then used parachute.

Did other members of crew bail out? Yes - according to my information, four others
hasides mysalf used parachutea.
8. Tell all you know. about when, where, how each person in your aircraft for whom no
individual questionnaire is attached bailed out. A crew list is attached. Please
give facts. If you don't know, say: "No Knowledge". lat Lt. Wis. F. Vandendriea,
pilot - bailed out uninjured. 2nd Lt. Jerome J. Wojciechowski, mavigator - bailed
aut after reseiving shrapnel and wounds of the face from plexiglass fragmente which
resulied in the lesa of an ayn. T/sgt. Ernest M. Hanceck,angineer - bailed aut

Where did your aircraft strike the ground? About So. of Kemplen, Gernany
10. What members of your crew were in the aircraft when it struck the ground? (Should
cross check with 8 above and individual questionnaires) 2nd Lt. Wilbur E. Wanstrom,
T/sit. Robert is Bell. s/sct. Norman J. Fuhrmann, s/Sgt. Rebert J. Allard,
s/sck. William S. Barlow
11. Where were they in aircraft? In their respective positionse
12. What was their condition? Wounded or dead.
13. When, where, and in what condition did you last see any members not already des-
cribed above? Saw Lt. Nojoieohowski about three weeks after we were shot down by
enemy aircraft. Hisdondition was that described in #8 above and most of my
information was gleaned by comparing notes with him.
14. Please give any similar information on personnel of any other crew of which you
have knowledge. Indicate source of information.
